Solved: Add blank unnumbered pages to a Windows Office document

I have written several chapters of my latest novel (saved as a Word 97-2003 doc) all the pages of which are numbered beginning with 1 on the first page of Chapter One. However, I want to add two pages of a Foreword right at the beginning but don't want these pages numbered. I've tried Page Break and Section Break but each new blank page comes up numbered. If I remove the Footer all the page numbers disappear.

There must be a way of doing this. Can anyone help please?
