I couldn't connect to the internet. I realised this because my Avast 7.0 isn't updating.
I used Windows Diagnostic Tools and came back with these results.

When I clicked Diagnose it also says
Windows has detected a problem with the Winsock provider catalog on this computer. The catalog allows programs to communicate with this computer across the network. Would you like Windows to reset the catalog to the default configuration?
I clicked yes, restarted the computer, and nothing worked.
I also tried to cmd then ipconfig/all then it shows
Windows IP Configuration
An internal error occurred: The request is not supported.
Please contact Microsoft Product Support Services for further help.
Additional information: Unable to query host name.
I tried System Restore but it didn't work either.

Would someone please let me know what I have to do? Check anything or re-install any files?
I guess the problems are either
1) my computer's system files or settings problem OR
2) my computer and the router's connection problem.
I don't know which.
I am most certain that it is NOT the router's problem, or router to ISP problem, because other computers that connect to the router work fine and can go onto the internet.
Many thanks!
