Slow loading pages

Hi

I hope this is the correct forum for this query.

I don't know why but my pages take a long time to load about 30secs, so I am spending time waiting for that dreaded circle thing to stop going round and round.

I am on a fast connection so this should not be the case.

Please can anyone help rather than me searching google and making a mess of things.
