I dual booted win xp and win 7 home premium 64 bit. I also have DSL connection always on. For win 7 the internet connection is automatic, just turning on internet explorer and it is connected. For win XP it is much more difficult: it says the 1394 connection is connected but internet explorer always says " the page cannot be displayed". I am at a lost here. I remember every time like this in the past I had to call my dsl isp ( frontier.com ) to get help. So can someone help me ?
