I download content from the BBC and watch in Windows Media Player.
I installed Windows 8 the other day, although I am not sure Windows 8 is my problem!
I downloaded a video from the BBC for WMP when opening in WMP the Digital management rights downloaded and the video opened but as soon as there was any sound the picture became covered in white & grey squares and lots of other interference so is unwatchable.
It seems that when the sound stops so does the interference.
I asked on another forum and was advised to download K-Lite Codec Pack Basic 9.5.0 which I did but it has not made any difference.
I hope someone can help as neither the BBC or Microsoft have any means of even asking the question:confused:
