Watching Sky over the Internet

I currently use the Sky Live application to watch mys my home based sky sports channels when away from home, either at friends who do not subscribe to Sky Sports or when away in hotels that do not offer the service. Most of the internet connections provided do not give enough bandwidth and I need some advice on looking for an appropriate VPN provider that offers daily/weekly/monthly payment options and would support both Windows 7 and Ipad.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
