how to make line at the edgeof the paper

Hi Guys. My daughter brought me a poser the other day. She wanted a thin line right on the edge of the page has anyone got any ideas, first I'll tell you what I have done, in word2003 I managed to do a line which was close to the edge, but not close enough as she wanded it on the edge itself, I altered the settings on the printer to borderless tried that but there was a line still and a space at the edge of the page. I even did a text box filled it with colour and pushed it as close to the edge of the paper and tried printing it but to no avail. I tried the same with Word 2010, but just came pu with the same problem......I need to get this storted for next week end.

All help would be greatfully received.
