excel summing values

heres an example of my sheet:

sheet1: actually much bigger

£54-----Y
£76-----N Y paid
£23-----P N not paid
£55-----Y P pending
£97-----P
£33-----N

sheet2:

A---------------------B
total paid----------
total unpaid------ so i need to sum the values of paid/unpaid/pending individually and automatically
total pending----- as simply as possible as the sheet has a really long list
