Don't know if this can be done but I have a laptop running vista ultimate and want to connect to an old style (CRT) tv. The tv just has a scart input sockect. The laptop has various ports so am planning to take audio from the headphone jack and the video from the S-Video socket. I have the necessary leads and an adapter that takes the S-Video and L/R audio on one side and outputs to a scart on the other.
However no luck when trying so far and don't even know if the S-Video is outputing anything. The laptop dosen't seem to recognise that it is plugged into another monitor so gives me no choices to make. Found something on the net that talked about connecting to a projector but the steps given only partly seemed to exist in vista.
Any help would be great. Thanks
