After downloading/using a video file converter 2 days ago (which may or may not be the cause), I am now unable to use any Microsoft programs at all. These include (at least) msconfig, help & support, IE8, Outlook. Microsoft Money 2006. It appears that the registry has been corrupted. I tried to use system restore using several different dates, but it failed every time; including in safe mode. When trying to open MS money 2006, error msg (see attached)states already running, but it's not; kill it in task manager; it can't even be opened (catch-22); even uninstalled & re-installed from disk, still the same. It seems something is preventing me from repairing any Microsoft programs. Ran scans on AVG; found nothing. Ran Malwarebytes, found & removed several items (see attached).

I'm stuck. Can you help?
