Ever since we upgraded our Dell Inspiron 6400 laptop to Windows 7 from Vista 32 bit, the computer does not see the HP Officejet 6500A scanner. Prints fine and can send faxes (can't receive faxes due to VOIP phone issue), also makes copies no sweat, but I absolutely cannot see the scanner. I have deleted all the old HP drivers and reinstalled the new ones for Windows 7 to no avail.
I have recently inherited over 60 photo albums from my family as well as my husband's family and need to scan some of these photos so I can reclaim some real estate in my house!
