I have set up a gmail account, but am unable to send gmail using Outlook 2010. I have changed the settings as instructioned - IMAP; incoming: imap.gmail.com; outgoing: smtp.gmail.com with the following server port #s: incoming: 993-SSL; outgoing: 587-TLS. The test outgoing emails come in fine; but I am unable to create emails using my gmail account from Outlook; I have to log onto GOOGLE and send emails from there. I have revised the settings as described in other 'help forums', but nothing works. Can you help me? Thank you.:o
