Hi,
Sorry this is long... details!
I purchased a Lenovo ThinkCentre M78 2111C2U Desktop Computer - AMD A-Series A4-5300 3.4GHz. It has a AMD Chipset Model A75. (WIN 7 PRO)
This mother board has two regular PCI slots and I cannot get my M-Audio Delta 1010lt card to work in the bottom slot, it will not even recognize the card! The top slot recognizes the card and after installing drivers it shows up as "no conflicts" in device manager, however when i try to play any music at all the players do not work. the little slider thing that indicates how long the song has been playing does not move at all! I have also tried two different drivers from MAUDIO.com
I have used this card for years and know what i'm doing. yes - it works fine in my old PC, and it also works in a friend's PC with WIN 7. I sent the 1st computer back for a replacement and the replacement has the same problem. SO then I have to wonder if it's a weird motherboard thing? Perhaps a jumper I need to remove? I'm at a lose. Newegg.com says they will not refund my money now, even though it has NOT been 30 days since I got the replacement! So I'm stuck with a computer that I have NO use for at all! Music is all I do with a PC so this is now an expensive piece of crap.
Can someone please help me solve the problem?
Recap:
The PC DOES see the card in the top slot. However NO music player or DAW will play any sound with it installed. When I take the card out, the on-board audio works fine, with the card installed... no audio at all! Please help me!
Thanks!
Dave
