Not sure if dead pixels or wiring

I've broken a screen before and I replaced it with a new one. I'm not sure if I wired it wrong or if it's loose, but there were streaks of purple and reddish colors down my screen. Over time they went away, but now there's a big spike on one side of my screen that just gets worst. I've tried dead pixel locators and fixers, but they have done nothing.
