Okay I have a issue that has been more bothersome to me than actually detrimental to my PC experience(does that make any sense). I just mean it is not a critical issue just something I would like to get top the bottom off for my own satisfaction !
When I load up a program, doesn't matter what, for instance Gothic 2, and as the progsrm is loading in, what will flash on the screen is pages from other applications, seems to be mainly my Defgragment(Advanced Defrag 2.0), and other maintenance programs AdvSysCare etc... Now is there any reason for this to occur, I am sure ther is a graphiocs buffer or cache that is simply not clearing out and when I get these flashes from other applications perhaps it is supposed to be flashing black screen ?
Anyone able to shed any light on this subject. Its kind of hard to explain so if you need me to clarify anything please just ask.
PS: I was an old TSG user back in the day but have abandoned the email the old account was connected to so had to re make an account. I am quite adept at the PC, and comfortable poking around in the registry etc.... not that I do that needlessly or hap hazard.
My Current install of XP has been running problem free for coming up 2 yrs, a definite record for me. Im very proactive and try to keep it the top most shape that I am able ?
So yeah, PC is working great just this lil issue that has been bugging me so I decided to investigate it.
I cannot recall when it started but it had not always done it of that I am sure.
Any ideas anyone ?Is there a way to manually dump the graphics cache that would store those images ?
