upgrade from winXP to win7 problem

will post computer specs at the end.

as the title say i have upgraded my winXP to win7(got 4GB ram) and noticed a slowdown on almost every program that i used,
at first i was thinking maybe my processor couldnt handle win7 but then found out it could, which is why i ask for help here.
what could slow me down X_X.
