Problem driver LAN connection adapter

Frustrated...

Realtek 8101 network card on Windows 7. Was working properly till yesterday. No internet connection possible now, ipconfig returns empty result. Cable is plugged in, replaced cabel, internet over Wifi is working. Deinstalled driver and rebooted, no result.

Install new driver? How to? Downloaded new driver from Realtek, does not install.
