Chrome and Chromium Play Unwanted Audio Ads

Hi, I saw a closed thread that never got to the bottom of this. Its really getting on my nerves. I have been using Chrome for quite a long time. About 2 months ago, I converted from Windows to Linux Mint KDE. I am currently running a Toshiba Satellite C655 and an Acer One D255E with Synergy connecting the two. I recently started an iMarketing business focusing on mobile smartphone apps but I also handle all other types of internet marketing for local businesses in my state. I use many Google services and Chrome is what I would prefer to use since it integrates so well with it all. About a week ago I started hearing what sounded like an infomercial playing some story about ADHD. I pretty quickly figured out that it was happening when I used Chrome. Even before that, I have been having to use Firefox because Chrome kept running ridiculously slow and causing my whole system to run slow. Even though I am now using Linux which isn't teaming with viruses and malware like Windows, I figured maybe I installed something I shouldn't have somewhere along the line. Well I just converted the Acer from Win 7 to Mint 14 yesterday, went to install Chrome but found out that the software repository has Chromium not Chrome. The C655 has regular Chrome which I just remembered I downloaded from Google. When I installed Chromium, I was hoping it didn't act stupid like Chrome does and slowpoke my computer. Seemed like it was doing ok until I just started getting the audio commercials. So, now that we have gone through my recent history...while googling a solution for this problem which eventually led me to you...I found out that it is or has to do with the Adobe Flash plug-in. This is how it goes: I start Chrome...after anywhere from 10 to 30 seconds it starts playing an infomercial, I kill the plugin with chrome task manager...it starts back up. I disabled the plugin. It starts back up even though plugin is labeled "disabled" Other people are having this problem all over. Could this be some hidden program that is activating flash and doing this? It is doing it on both laptops, one has a fresh install of Linux Mint 14 KDE...from yesterday, and its doing it. Could Adobe be partnering with spammers? Whats the deal here? The funny thing is, the ads I heard aren't trying to get me to buy anything, don't tell me to go to a website, the just tell some stupid story like its a news brief on NPR. After seeing your extensive knowledge, I figure if anyone can get to the bottom of this it would be you. I didn't run the SysInfo thing, I will if you need it but it seems to be initiated by something from the outside. PLEASE find out the deal with this, I really need this to work right, I am in a serious situation financially right now, I ran all the way out of money starting this business. Got my first client the day after. I don't have time to be reorganizing all the things that were already set up and working for me.

Thanks,
JerseyMobiSolGuy
