when bittorrent 7.7.2 runs, everything else is slow

when i run bitTorrent 7.7.2 e..very..thing e..lse... is run..ning some..how l..ike thi..s....
slo..w ..and slu..ggish. al..ways li..ttle free..zes....

and when i pause the downloads the laptop is running smooth again.

anyone knows what to do whith this :confused:
