Ok, here is my story I feel idiotic that this happened:
I was putting photos on a disc when it just froze and stopped progressing... the window wouldn't close so I decided I was smart and I went in task manager to try and find the process to make the window go away. I ended up ending explorer.exe... so the start menu task bar, desk top vanished and I assumed it would restart properly. I went to ran a new task, I typed explorer and set it loose, everything popped back up.
But then I went to the start menu, clicked 'documents' and it says the shortcut is missing... Windows has since frozen up on me and I need help...
My OS is Windows 7 and I never had problems with it before.
