I am working in a locked down environment, and have no access to alter the java code or intercept it.
I am looking for a capture method or even from topside of the dialog box. Whatever text shows up in the box, just grab it, and I will paste in to Excel for editing.
I read online where people have captured dialog info simply by hitting CTRL c. I have tried this, and it does not work in the environment I am in.
It has the Java symbol in the top left, and it is somewhat intuitive (for java) It looks like a nice program, but I know it is not that solid.
After giving this program a task, it usually submits through and all is well. BUT If it does not - and there are errors created.. Then I have to manually copy the message of the error. This is time consuming, and I could be creating typos. This has been this way for years, and I dont see my company fixing it anytime soon. Does anyone know a way to capture, or get a simple text version of an error kicked up by a java application?
This is running on a Dell, with 8 gigs of ram, and is Windows XP. It appears to be Java, running on our network connection.
When I look at the properties of the App that I run to get in to this program, the file is in my documents and settings, and extension is .jnlp
*************Thank you for any assistance on this.
