I recently self built a new pc and I am attempting to install windows 7 on it from a flash drive. Everything goes fine up to the point where I get the screen asking for language/time/keyboard preferences and my keyboard and mouse are no longer able to provide input.
My keyboard is a USB Microsoft wired keyboard 400 and I can use it fine in the BIOS menu. I've gone through the BIOS making sure that all USB controllers are turned on and that USB legacy support is turned on. I've been looking around trying to find a solution but nothing is working.
As of right now I have not attempted to boot using any other media as I don't have a cd burner but if doing so would be beneficial in narrowing down the problem I can attempt to do so.
This is my first time self building so if there are any other specs that would be useful to share please let me know and I'll find them.
