I am not a mac enthusiast but do have an issue with a mac using a script
the script is set to copy .tif files over to a windows share anytime a new one is added to a specific folder on the mac
HD/Fax/filname.tif
copy to smb:\\server\folder
etc...
now, there is no problem with this functionality. All files copy over fine however, the weird thing is the file extension of .tif keeps getting attached to random files to the point where there are so many .tif extensions added, that it surpasses windows filename size limit and the only way to do anything with it, is by deleting it through command prompt
Is this perhaps a problem with the script (or something specific in the script ) which does this when copying the file
anyone ever see this type of thing before ?
