IBM Levono R52 1860 WiFi connection problem

I have 2 IBM Levono R52 1860 Laptops, both are running windows XP Pro, one has Intel PROSet Wireless WiFi that works perfectly. I installed PROSet Wireless on the other one and it won't work. It tells me that the network driver is not installed.... If I go to C:/programs, etc. the driver is in the folder....Help please?? in device manager under Network adapters it shows Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet( which won't connect to my WiFi either) and PdaNet Broadband Adapter that will connect it to the net via my phone and a cable??
