My wife's computer has suddenly started showing a most odd problem.
When she tries to connect to the Meteo France web site (which is still working normally, as I have checked on my own machine) she is connected to a different site. The problem started this morning. I have attached a screenshot which shows the site she ends up at.
Any attempt to get to Meteo France's actual site - typing in the url, clicking on the results of a Google search, clicking the (now delected!) favourites button - takes one to that site. This applies in Firefox and in IE 9.
I tried clearing the browsers caches without effect, and I tried setting Firefox to warn me if a site tried automatic redirection, but again without effect.
The address the browser shows is not that of the site she is at; the site will appear even when a correct Meteo France address is showing in the browser window.
I am at this moment doing a full system scan. Her Win 7 computer is protected by Norton 360 Premier Edition, and is scanned regularly.
Any suggestions as to what might be causing this problem would be appreciated.
