I'm having an issue connecting to my internet. I have two laptops (One Dell and on Compaq, the Dell running WIndows 7 and the latter running Vista), both of which can connect to the router, but neither can connect to the internet. I updated my driver (the one that seems to be the cause of a lot of issues) and that didn't seem to help, and the Dell also has up-to-date drivers. What could be causing this issue?
Its frustrating because both laptops, from different manufacturers and running different versions of windows are having the same issue. We can configure the wireless network, name it, secure it, but it never connects to the internet, just lets us sit there connected to a pointless wireless network. I know the internet works because I have an ethernet cable running from my modem to my Compaq, so that's not the issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
