For some unknown reason both my McAfee and Malwarebytes programs will not run...I get the "software restriction policy"error. I can also not delete the programs from the Add/Remove programs as Windows says the program has already been removed. I can however run both programs in the safe mode. I ran some virus and malware programs and several files were deleted. However, it seems to me that considering I did not set a software restriction on these 2 programs, could a virus have done this? This is a XP Professional system. I do not see any software restrictions set up under the group policy. Thanks in advance for any ideas or help!
