okay,I have wild blue satellite internet and have had for about 2 months(nothing else is available where i live).I have their ViaSat modem and a TP-Link WR841-N wireless router which I purchased. When I first connected this router,I just used the quick install and it worked just fine.Works great for about 30-40 days then all of a sudden I crank up the PC and I've got no internet connection.I can connect directly to the modem and get internet, but with the router I have nothing.I thought the router went bad,but got a brand new one(exact same model)hook it up and boom...same problem.I call TP-Link and they say it's the satellite...something about the packet sizes being too large for the router or something.I call the satellite folks and they say it's my router.I have called the router support 3 times and satellite support 3 times with NO help.I don't know for sure, but I think sometimes my ip is static and sometimes dynamic.I know very little about networking, but I manually put my ip in the router settings yesterday and got it to work...but for only a 24 hour period.I woke up today and the connection was down again and will only work by connecting directly to the modem.I have run out of options because no one will help or even admit that there is a problem.I don't know what to do and not having wireless is annoying. If anyone can throw some suggestions around, that would be great.Thanks.
