After about a week and a half of trying to fix my computer by myself I've pretty much given up all hope. The first issue that occured was I would be getting the blue screen error evertime I tried to put my computer to sleep. Then it started to happen frequently, especially with certain applications like my music programs. Eventually I could not even boot up my computer with it bluescreening. luckily all my important stuff is on a separate harddrive and all that I had on my ssd was my OS (Windows 7 Sp1) and a couple programs. I upgraded my windows and it seemed fixed for awhile but soon began to freeze up. I decided at this point to do a fresh install but the computer would only boot into safe mode after. I tried to install windows again but the computer would always freeze at the final steps. At this point I thought it had to have been a hardware issue. I suspected the video card, so i replaced it with an old one i had laying around and voila windows installed successfully and booted the first time. Then a new problem arose, the computer would either disconnect from vga/hdmi/dvi or it would freeze on the bios screen. So i decided that maybe there was a lose connection. I completely disassembled my computer and put it back together, assuring that all connections were snug and neatly organized. Now my computer seems to fine besides the random, and i mean completely random vga/hdmi/dvi disconnecting, i should also mention that when this happens I am forced to hold the power button down and hard reset. Its not the monitor, i've tried multiple. So at this point i am completely lost and i'm usually quite the tech savvy person. Ive switched between video cards and slots but the problem persists.
Any ideas?
I am convinced it is a hardware malfunction with the motherboard but maybe someone knows otherwise.

:confused:Ok so my problem right now is that i can't connect to the internet on my other computers via wireless connection. The one i am using right now i had to plug in to the router using an ethernet cable. I have the Netgear wnr2000v3 router, and today i updated its firmware. From there on i could not use the internet and began receiving limited access from my network and it became unidentified network(was called Guardado-HP_Network). I then called some tech support from websites like crestbell and netgeartechnicalsupport they remote logged into my computer and told me that i have malware( csrss.exe) that is causing my problem and that they would charge $99.99 per computer to get rid of it and clean up my router. So i came here to see if anyone could help me and save me the burden of having to pay $100 to get the help i could get from other people.

I was messing around with my dns last night, trying to get a static ip so I could host a server for my friends for a couple days, but after I did it, they decided they didn't want it. Now, I can't get my DHCP to enable. It's set to obtain automatically, and DCHP Server is enabled on my router settings. What do I do? It's been almost 12 hours. It's making my internet really slow quite often, webpages may load normally, or they might not load at all.

I got a second hand PC which is a HP Touchsmart 600. I am running on windows 7 64 bit and I have cable.
I am now trying to add a HP Printer 8600 which I had on my old computer.
When I go to install the printer, I put the CD in the E drive, and nothing happens.
It recognizes the printer, but tells me that no drivers are found.
I then inserted a Dvd movie, and it then says No disc found in E drive.
I just called my daughter who I got this PC from, and she tells me that she never had a problem!
Does anyone have any ideas for me?

I have been having some problems with my laptop. I have a Sony xperia z and need to update its software but whenever I load the program it uses to manage files on it- Sony pc companion- Windows will pop up a little window saying its not responding withing a few seconds of it loading and closes the program. I try this with a few other programs and this is a re-occuring problem with quite a few of the ones i tested. Sony pc companion isnt a resource intensive program at all and i have nothing else running at the same time. I ran AVG just in case but nothing showed up.

I recently had Windows 7 Professional installed on my PC and have had nothing but problems since. Before Windows 7, I had Vista When I log on, there are two Window 7 choices. It continues to crash and reboot. I get the blue screen. I am unable to run in safe mode. I have to keep turning off and on before it will eventually come on.

I have an old Samsung Galaxy phone but what ever sim card i put in it it still asks me for a pin number when i power it up after 5 attempts it telkls me that my pattern is wrong. i am sure the phone is not locked.

I was wondering.. I am currently using a SB Live! 24Bit PCI sound card. Why? because my onboard realtek starts buzzing/distorting and just sounds plain horribad when I use its equalizer (this has been the same on every onboard realtek sound card I have ever owned). When I crank up my SB Live EQ my sounds is clear, crisp and non distorted bass.

Now, what sound card nowadays could be even better than what I currently use? Please give you opinion/views about the answer you give/ justifiable reason to switch.

What happened was, I wanted to give my xbox a wireless connection and was told I need to enter the xbox mac address to the router, so I went on 192.168.0.1 and entered it, also selecting "Allow these access to internet" and yet it didn't give my xbox a wireless connection, and it said the xbox was wireless aswell... I opened a new tab and the internet just didn't work or connect.. I reset my Linksys Router by clicking the button using a pen at the back of it and held it for 30 seconds to be sure, after that, on Windows 8 I set it up and it won't identify itself.. I need help ASAP! I really need the internet up & running, and not failing to identify itself..

I'm doing a shopping cart by hand as it were and integrating PP with it... Problem is at the tail end, I'm not sure how and where the feedback should be arriving? It doesn't appear to arrive at the "success" url I supplied to PP (see form code), as url data elements or a form ($_GET's or $_POST's). Is there something else that I should do? Here's the form code...As you can see I've added a notify url, in the hope of getting the feedback from there - but, as it's "back-office" stuff, I have no opportunity to dump the $_GET's or $_POST's as it's not directly invoked in my session.

I have upgraded my DELL Inspiron 1525 to win 8 32 bit using an upgrade CD with no problems.
I now wish to upgrade further to win 8 64 bit using the 64 bit upgrade CD.

When I inserted the 64 bit upgrade CD it said 'your current version of windows is 32 bit and does not match the architecture of the 64 bit installation media.'

I am told that my laptop will support 64 bit so why doesn't it allow me to upgrade????

I'm not experiencing this problem all the time - that's what I find weird. I've googled a lot, and I see people having the same problems. I'm under the impression that this is not a Win8 problem, but rather an Intel or memory management problem. In various threads on forums, people are disabling a memory management tool called intellmem.exe, but I can't find anything similar in my services.
