Widows Explorer prevents Antivirus from being downloaded

I know I got an infection and have tried various things to fix it without success. I have downloaded various applications such as FRST, Listparts, TDSSKiller, etc and got so far before resorting to doing a system restore in safe mode to try and restore to a time in the past when it worked okay.
I noticed yesterday my antivirus icon wasn't in my taskbar. When I tried to turn it on, windows explorer just hung and stopped working and my anti-virus woudn't load. I tried updating to new version but that will only go so far and say that it can't be completed because of an error. Also now Google Chrome is not working and when I use IE to download TSG Sysinfo or Malwarebytes it says it has a virus and won't alow it. Where do I begin to sort this?

Video and Audio input lag (delay) despite good performance

So, I had had gtx650Ti for some time until it started performing very poorly (natural death, in the name of technological progress I guess).
Along with obvious frame drops though, for some reason came input lag.
I upgraded to GTX770 relatively recently and the problem still exists, except it is worse now.
Since the problem started I have changed my hard drives too.
Suprisingly, after getting the new GPU, audio lag came into play to make the matters worse, or so I think it did (maybe I just didn't notice it before, but it is a bit unlikely).
What could be the problem?
I have cleaned my registry, only run essential programs and services, don't constantly use an antivirus, have the most recent GPU drivers with setting optimised purely for performance (along with disabled screen scaling), don't use mouse\peripherals softwares or enhancement options of my monitor...

Windows 8.1 updated and now Google Chrome crashes
A couple of months ago Google Chrome began crashing. It seemed to happen following an automatic update of Win 8.1 I have researched this and it seems that I'm not alone although none of the fixes I've found have helped. I have deleted/removed/reinstalled Chrome and it won't launch. There was one suggested fix regarding corrupted files. Using my administrator account I tried to follow the command prompts in the fix but my computer told me that I don't have authorization to do that even though I am the administrator. So on one hand I don't know why I was denied authorization and on the other hand I don't know if the "fix" would have worked because I couldn't get that far. Appreciate some help on this. Google forums nor Microsoft support forums have helped much. I want my Chrome back!
FYI, I use Windows Defender and Superantispyware. Laptop came with Win 8.1 and Chrome worked fine for ever until recently.

Problems With New Enclosure for External HDD
I had a 3 tb hard drive filled with movies and the usb connector broke off, i read online I could just get a new enclosure for it so I did. it was easy enough to set up but when I connected it to my computer it came up as a 350mb unformatted hard drive, I think that maybe all of my data is on a partition that is somehow hidden now? When I run any type of fix disk or partition recovery software it recognizes the drives full capacity but my computer seems to just see it as a small unformatted hard drive. It took me a long time to get all the data I'm storing on this drive and I'd appreciate any assistance in being able to not lose it. Thanks!

Outlook 2010 won't delete from server
When I change my outlook 2010 in options / account settings, I change it to "delete from server". When I load outlook 2010 up again, it goes back to "leave on server for 14 days. Why won't this keep my settings to delete it from server when I receive the e-mails. I have 3 accounts, none will keep my "delete from server", they all go back to leave a copy on server.

Advanced System Care from iobit, ntuser.dat.iobit and startup troubles...
So, I recently installed Advanced System Care from iobit and ran the complete scan. It made a good number of changes but nothing seemed amiss. The next time I went to start up, though, Windows 7 hung on start-up (at the "pulsating Windows" stage, as I like to call it). Did a hard shut down and restart, Windows ran System Repair and System Restore, and start-up was successful, and the iobit software was removed. The problem, though, is that this has happened every time I've started up the computer since (i.e., it hangs at the pulsating windows icon, hard shut-down, Windows Repair, System Restore, and then I can finally get to work).
The only vestige I can find of the iobit software is an ntuser.dat.iobit file. Is this the probable cause of the start-up issue? Can I safely just remove this file? Why didn't System Restore get rid of it?
Any ideas?

WLAN connection drop/ip address conflict
This has been a problem for a month or so. I have a laptop, which is connected to a wireless network, and a pc, which is connected to the laptop via ethernat cable. I bridged the connections so I could share the internet connection, and the connection is ok, except every half an hour (or so) the connection drops. I get disconnected on my pc, and on my laptop an error pops up: windows has detected an ip address conflict. That lasts for a couple of seconds, and then it reconnects and everything is fine.
I've searched the forums, but couldn't really find the solution. Another problem is that I can not restart the router because it's not in my flat (I'm not stealing internet, i just live as a sub-tenant, so the router is in a flat above mine). Any help would be much appreciated. Also, sorry if I made some grammatical mistakes, english is not my native language.

Is it possible to combine 2 internet connections for faster speed?
Unfortunately I live in a rural area where I am fortunate to even get non dial up internet and have a choice of 1 ISP. The fastest download speed I can get is 6 mega bits per second (mbs) which tests out as 4 mbs. If I were to buy an extra phone line is there any way I could multiplex the 2 so I could get a better download speed for things such as Netflix.
Due to medical issues I am confined to bed about 22 hours a day so the net is my primary way of communicating and obtaining entertainment.
Current system I7 2600, Samsung 240 pro ssd, 1 tb wd black and 1 tb wd raptor hard drives, as well as 2 wd 2 tb esata and usb3 external drives, 16 gigs ram, and Sapphire 6850 video card.

new laptop hard drive
My neighbours laptop hard drive has to be replaced. He's bought a new one and put it in his laptop, i've tried to install windows 7 from an iso disk .The new hard drive has an EFI system partition and it won't install windows . is there anyway i can format this hard drive so i can install windows 7 on .Will i have to take the hard drive out of the laptop. Any help would be appreciated .

I'm not sure if this is even possible.... I'm a college student, the class I am writing about today had a deadline date, in which to withdraw from the course without getting a "F" grade, but instead a "W".
The deadline was on 10/28/14.
Now I was aware of this, and went to withdraw on 10/27/14. I was browsing my student portal a few days later to see that it never withdrew me from the class. I know I withdrew in time (27th), but maybe some computer glitch, or something happened that caused it to not finalize the withdrawal or something.
I am so desperate (I got my first "F") that I've been searching Google history for the 27th. It pulls up many history that day of my being on my college account, and even has the words on 2 of the 7 history entries: add drop class. Unfortunately, that isn't enough, as my school could just say I was probably browsing classes to ADD, not withdrawing the class in this topic.
QUESTION: IF I USE inspect element, what is that? It almost looked like a blueprint of all the clicks I made that day, etc, but hard to read.
--Can I show "what I was CLICKING" on the 27th with inspect element?
--Can I show more detail as to WHY and EXACTLY what I was clicking on the 27th, so I can prove my actual, documented clicks of ATTEMPTING to drop the class?
Did that make sense?
I need to prove that I honestly believed, and thought I had, withdrew my class. A timeline per say?!

Win7-ultimate 64-bit, all updates are updated.

Sit down and grab a cuppa.
Got up this morning to a BSOD. I've had them occasionally in the past, but I'm having a run on them lately. I think it's Nvidia, but not sure.
I rebooted, opened Windows, got an error msg that
SecureLine TrayIcon: AvastUI.exe - Application Error.
"The instruction at xxxxxxxx referenced memory at xxxxxxx. (the locations change). The memory could not be written. Click OK to terminate the program"
I click OK, and it pops up again. (and again and again and again and again, etc)
I go to my task manager and try to end it there, and it pops up again.
I go to google to look it up, and suddenly I have no search engine (I can't send data to google.)
AHA! I think. Malware that got past me? Stupid Avast!
I try to repair Avast. Nothing changes.
I start looking for other free AV programs, find Panda. It has good reviews, so I read up and download it.
When I try to install it, the install program has bloatware--some sort of ad blocker that I can try a 7 day trial. I don't want it, but I can't install Panda without installing the bloatware. I want the AV and figure that I can uninstall it, say no, after 7 days.
Panda will not install at all, just hangs there, but that bloatware surely did.
I go to softonic.com to try to get another download version of Panda and can't pull up the page. (no data)
By now, I'm starting to worry.
I go into my Control Panel, find and uninstall the bloatware and thought that would be the end of it. Not hardly.
Go back to PCWorld and download AVG. It installs fine and I'm doing a scan right now (I'm on laptop. These issues are in desktop).
The first thing AVG says is that it found malware in the form of "Oylentages" and puts it in the vault.
Chrome then crashes. It has never crashed before that I remember.
I come in here and start googling, binging, and duckduckgoing "oylentages". I can't find any information about this AT ALL. Looking at the date of the folder, (in my C:/programsx86 folders), it installed when I installed Panda and/or the bloatware.
It's a Service. PID 5668 (whatever that means). I tried to end it. No go. Access denied.
I went into my Mgmt console and disabled it, told it not to start again, but it's still running in the task mgr. I haven't rebooted yet because my AVG scan is still going on.
Oylentages is not in my Control Panel. I can't uninstall or delete it--access is denied because it's open in another program. I guess, since it's a Service, it runs without telling me anything? I can't get rid of it and I don't know what it is!

Splitting AVI Video?
Heya, i have an AVI video that i believe is corrupted in some place, using VirtualDub it seems that a part of it is damaged.
Is it at all possible to split a corrupted/damaged AVI file in half so i can play the uncorrupted half?

dollar value in merge excel to word 2013
Addresses and a different dollar value (from a formula) for each addressee are in Excel 2013 and are then merged to a word template (letter) to be printed. Various column formats have been attempted, i.e., dollar value, currency, accounting etc.. The excel is showing the figure as the proper two decimal value, but the merge show the value as multiple figures after the decimal. This merge used to work correctly and it is not known why it does not work now. Can you assist please?
